“ Fabulous food and wine, wonderful staff, and beautiful buildings and gardens. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the menus/dishes were thoughtfully planned, with attention to local and seasonal produce (lucky them to be in gorgeous North Wales, with fabulous ingredients all around). “ Had an absolutely fab stay at Tyddn Llan recently. From the historic character of the building to the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, we had the most amazing experience. We had the 10-course tasting menu for dinner and were blown away by the creativity and thought that Chef Gareth puts into every course. The wait staff were also all so lovely and attentive throughout the meal. Huge shout-out to Emily for sharing her expertise for each wine pairing and her great storytelling! Her extensive knowledge and warm demeanour really enhanced the experience. Overall staff are incredibly knowledgeable and kind, beds are very comfortable, and though it is a historic building, that didn’t detract from the stay, but really enhanced the overall feel and character. The grounds are also lovely and there are great walks nearby. If you’re thinking of staying in North Wales, I can’t think of a more beautiful or worthwhile place to eat and stay at! ”

Staff are friendly and helpful and Susan is always welcoming. The food is always incredible, menu, ingredients, preparation and presentation. It's what keeps us coming back to this wonderful Welsh retreat. Icing on the cake, dogs are welcome in the guest rooms so she gets to have a night away too. ”

The food was exquisite, the staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful and the nicest meal we have ever had. The service rooms had such a lovely and calming energy about them. “ We have just returned from a 2 night stay and will definitely be returning next year. We had a 10 course taster one night and 6 course taster the second night and the food was amazing and presented exquisitely. The five course breakfast was equally as impressive. The wine we were recommended really complimented the food we were eating. The service was really attentive and you really were made to feel special and nothing was too much trouble. It was fine dining and drinking but not stuffy at all. There was a lovely log fire to sit by which we were thankful for as arrived during the weekend storms. Thank you for a lovely stay. ”
